Full list of performers announced for the 2026 FIFA World Cup

Here are the artists expected to perform at the opening ceremony and also the highly anticipated halftime show at the 2026 World Cup.

FIFA has confirmed a star-studded entertainment lineup for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with major performances scheduled across the three host nations, Mexico, Canada, and the United States, as well as the first-ever halftime show at a World Cup final.

The 2026 tournament will begin on June 11 in Mexico City and end on July 19 at the New York/New Jersey Stadium. For the first time in World Cup history, FIFA will stage three separate opening ceremonies across the host countries, with Mexico City hosting the first ceremony on June 11, before Toronto and Los Angeles hold theirs on June 12.

Mexico opening ceremony performers

The Mexico ceremony will take place at Mexico City Stadium before the tournament opener. FIFA confirmed that the performers include:

Alejandro Fernández, Belinda, Danny Ocean, J Balvin, Lila Downs, Los Ángeles Azules, Maná and Tyla.

The ceremony is expected to highlight Mexican culture through music, dance, Indigenous talent and modern folkloric performances.

Canada opening ceremony performers

Canada’s opening ceremony will take place in Toronto on June 12, 90 minutes before kick-off. The confirmed performers are:

Alanis Morissette, Alessia Cara, Elyanna, Jessie Reyez, Michael Bublé, Nora Fatehi, Sanjoy, Vegedream and William Prince.

FIFA said the Toronto ceremony will use a mosaic-inspired version of the World Cup trophy to reflect Canada’s diversity and community spirit.

United States opening ceremony performers

The United States ceremony will take place in Los Angeles on June 12. FIFA confirmed an all-star lineup featuring:

Katy Perry, Future, Anitta, LISA, Rema and Tyla.

The Los Angeles ceremony will begin 90 minutes before kick-off and will include live performances, large-scale visuals and immersive storytelling centred around the FIFA World Cup trophy.

2026 World Cup final halftime show performers

FIFA has also confirmed that the 2026 World Cup final will feature the tournament’s first-ever halftime show. The show will take place on July 19 at the New York/New Jersey Stadium, with Madonna, Shakira and BTS announced as co-headliners.

The halftime show will be curated by Coldplay’s Chris Martin and produced in partnership with Global Citizen. It will support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, an initiative aiming to raise $100 million to expand access to education and football for children around the world.
