Released on Friday, 31 July 2026, through ONErpm, the track marks another milestone in a career that has influenced South African music and culture for more than 20 years. Produced by acclaimed hitmaker Almotie Mtombeni, better known as Alie Keys, the song combines Zola 7‘s unmistakable storytelling with a modern sound that honours perseverance and inner strength.

According to Zola 7, the inspiration behind the record came from the remarkable women in his life. From those who help run his business to the loved ones who support him at home, he says their unwavering dedication and resilience motivated him to create a song that shines a spotlight on achievements that often go unnoticed.

At 49, the artist born Bonginkosi Dlamini has made it clear that stepping away from music is not part of his plans. Known affectionately as “Guluva” by generations of fans who embraced both his music and his groundbreaking SABC1 television series, Zola believes genuine artists never stop creating.

Reflecting on the changing music landscape, Zola welcomed the opportunities brought by the digital era while expressing caution about the growing influence of artificial intelligence on artistic expression. He believes creatives must continue evolving without losing the human element that gives music its soul.

He also credits his longevity to years of travelling across Africa, learning through personal challenges and remaining committed to telling authentic stories that connect with people.

For longtime supporters, She Nailed It (Amazipho) serves as both a celebration of Zola 7’s enduring legacy and a reminder of the impact he has had on South African music through socially conscious storytelling and cultural pride. His latest offering reinforces that his voice remains as relevant as ever, continuing to inspire while embracing a new chapter.

She Nailed It (Amazipho) is now available to stream on all major digital platforms.
