State of Origin Game II live: NSW vs Queensland at the Melbourne Cricket Ground

NSW Blues five-eighth Mitchell Moses has been out of action for a month with a hamstring injury.

It was that injury that forced him out of Game I, replaced by Ethan Strange.

But Moses has been picked and will play tonight in the number 6 jersey, despite his lack of recent footy.

He has been interviewed on the Nine Network broadcast and has reassured Blues fans that he is good to go.

“Body’s feeling good, ready to go.”

NSW have been guilty of slow starts in recent Origins.

In the past three Origins, dating back to Game II last year, the Maroons have outscored the Blues 66-12 in first halves.

It comes as no surprise that the start of tonight’s match is a big focal point for the men in Blue.

“I think our start is really important — if we start well, we will put ourselves in a good position,” Moses said.
