Speaking in an interview with Hey Shawty on Tell Us Y?, Roiii was asked why the relationship came to an end. While he chose not to disclose the specific reason, he explained that Praise reached a point where she no longer believed the relationship was right for her.
“I will not disclose that on camera,” Roiii said. “She got to a point in our relationship where it just wasn’t working for her.”
Despite the breakup, the musician made it clear that he has no ill feelings toward his former partner, urging viewers not to blame her for the relationship ending. “I don’t want anybody to fault her for it. That girl did me no wrong,” he said.
Roiii explained that after three years together, Praise felt he might not have been the right person for her and made the difficult decision to end the relationship.
“She got to a point where she feels I might not be the right person for her, and she ended it. What more can a person ask for?”
When asked whether the breakup was difficult to process, Roiii didn’t shy away from his emotions.
“Of course I cried,” he admitted. “Yeah, I cried for sure.”
