Queensland Maroons team named for State of Origin II live

NSW coach Laurie Daley will reveal his team after this afternoon’s King’s Birthday clash between Canterbury and Parramatta.

Queensland was never likely to have any stake in that game in terms of players, so it makes sense for them to get the Maroons into camp ASAP, but Daley will be keeping a close eye on Bulldogs centre Stephen Crichton from 4:05pm.

Crichton has started every game at centre since Origin II 2022, but has battled to start this year, is struggling with a shoulder injury and was uncharacteristically poor in Game I.

With Kotoni Staggs, Latrell Mitchell, Casey McLean and Tolu Koula just some of the names in the mix, Crichton needs to impress and show no signs of ill health this afternoon.
