

José Mourinho has finally addressed the growing speculation linking him with a sensational return to Real Madrid.
The Portuguese manager confirmed that he is yet to receive any agreement with the Spanish Jose Mourinho insisted that his immediate focus remains on his current club and refused to be drawn fully into discussions about his future. The former Real Madrid coach admitted he is aware of the rumours but stated that no official talks have taken place directly with him yet.
He also hinted that any decision regarding his future will only come after Benfica’s season officially ends.

“Benfica sent me a new contract proposal on Wednesday. But I said: not now. On Sunday, we will see. Next week is important for my future.”
There are reports in Spain and England have claimed that Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez sees Mourinho as a leading candidate to take charge again following the club’s disappointing campaign under Álvaro Arbeloa.
Some outlets even suggest negotiations are already at an advanced stage, although nothing has been formally announced by either club. Mourinho previously managed Real Madrid between 2010 and 2013, winning a La Liga title, Copa del Rey, and Spanish Super Cup during his first spell at the Santiago Bernabéu.
