Flvme Shares The Story Behind His Viral Handshake With A-Reece. Flvme has opened up about the unexpected moment he reunited with fellow rapper A-Reece, revealing that the long-awaited encounter happened completely by chance.
Speaking during a conversation with Maggz and Da L.E.S on the Real Stuff Podcast, Flvme dismissed any suggestion that their meeting had been carefully orchestrated. When Maggz asked whether there had been cameras, entourages or a planned setup surrounding the reunion, Flvme made it clear that none of that was the case.
“There were cameras, but we weren’t even aware of the cameras because of how controlled the situation was,” he explained, adding that the meeting was never arranged.
According to Flvme, the reunion happened at Rusty and 25K’s show. He had briefly stepped back to his car after realising he had forgotten his laptop, which he needed to finish some work. By the time he returned, A-Reece had already made his way upstairs to the VIP section.
As fate would have it, the timing could not have been more perfect.
“So as I’m going back in, he’s about to walk out,” Flvme recalled.
Before seeing A-Reece, Flvme first crossed paths with the rapper’s younger brother. The two greeted each other warmly, with A-Reece’s brother reflecting on how much time had passed since they had last connected.
“Yo, man, we’re grown now, we’re different niggas, you know. We’ll see if we get to bump into each other again,” Flvme said.
The exchange captured the reality of how friendships and industry relationships evolve, especially after both artists had taken different paths in their careers.
