Good evening and welcome back to ABC Sport’s live blog coverage of the 2026 AFL season. Tonight we head to Adelaide as the Crows play host to the Magpies.
These are two teams who each have put themselves among “dark horse” conversations, though their ladder positions suggest different realities. The Crows are only 0.6% out of the top four currently, and could go level on points with second-place with a win tonight. Meanwhile the Magpies are a game and a half out of the top six, but there is great optimism of a run from a wildcard spot.
We’re into the business end of the home and away season now, and these sorts of games can become defining. Should be a good one, with any luck.
