Scumie Reveals Two-Part Album AVANT: TIRAMISU Ahead Of August Release. South African alternative hip-hop star Scumie has officially announced her upcoming double album, AVANT: TIRAMISU, which is scheduled for release on August 14.
The rapper shared the news alongside striking promotional visuals and a full tracklist, giving fans a first look at what promises to be one of her most ambitious projects to date.
The album is divided into two separate discs, AVANT and TIRAMISU, each representing a different side of Scumie‘s artistic identity.
The first half, AVANT, reflects the experimental and genre-defying sound that has become synonymous with the artist since she first emerged as a producer in 2019 before expanding into rapping, singing, and songwriting. The second half, TIRAMISU, appears to embrace a warmer, more soulful direction, continuing the neo-soul influences that have recently found their way into her music.

Born Zamazitha Mnqandi, Scumie has steadily built a reputation as one of South Africa’s most exciting alternative hip-hop voices. Her 066 series showcased her ability to blend sharp lyricism with melodic experimentation, while collaborations with artists including Sho Madjozi, Nadia Nakai, Saudi, and Shia Choo have further expanded her reach.
