Atlético Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has firmly dismissed speculation linking Julián Álvarez with a move to Barcelona, insisting that the Argentine forward is not available for transfer.
Cerezo was speaking amid growing reports of Barcelona’s interest, he made it clear that Atlético have no intention of parting ways with one of their most important players. The club president stressed that Álvarez remains a key part of Diego Simeone’s plans and is expected to continue at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano next season.

Cerezo’s comments come after Barcelona president Joan Laporta confirmed that the Catalan club had submitted an offer for the former Manchester City striker. However, Atlético’s stance has remained unchanged, with Cerezo reiterating that the club has no plans to negotiate the sale of the World Cup winner.
