Solo Sae Reacts To Usimamane Stealing His “Nuhmsayin” Flow

Solo Sae Reacts To Usimamane Stealing His “Nuhmsayin” Flow. Solo Sae has spoken out after noticing what he believes is a clear imitation of his signature “Nuhmsayin” flow on the upcoming Usimamane’s “Tesla Tuesday.”

In a quick interview with OkaySwisher, Solo Sae shared his initial reaction, saying he was caught off guard when he first heard the record. He also pointed out that there had been no prior communication between him and Usimamane, which made any overlap seem even more unexpected.

According to him, “Me and Smuyzy (Usimamane) haven’t spoken until today, so we weren’t supposed to be on any song together,” he said. “So one of my friends just sent me this, and I was like, oh, kuyanyiwa.”

The comments have reignited discussion within South Africa’s hip-hop community about originality, influence, and where the line sits between inspiration and copying. Solo Sae’s “Nuhmsayin” flow has become one of his defining traits, recognised for its rhythmic bounce and memorable cadence across his recent work, helping him stand out in a crowded scene.

Usimamane has not yet responded publicly, but listeners are already split. Some argued that Solo Sae also stole that flow from Kindlynxsh. As the clip continues to spread online, debate around artistic boundaries in local rap culture is growing louder.
