Who Will We Trade With If the Fed Doesn’t Lower Rates?


At least according to Trump:

Well, according to Census data through July, not many countries: Belgium, Netherlands, Spain (although they drop out if European Union as a whole is taken as a “country”), Egypt, Nigeria, UK.

It’s not clear under what authority the president would stop all trade with a given country, say the UK. IEEPA?
