Taking to Instagram on the anniversary, the artist reflected on the journey behind the independent project and hinted that a new chapter is already in motion. Looking back on the album’s creation, Jay Jody described the experience as one of the most defining moments of his career.

“What a time… what a moment,” he wrote. “The making of it really tested the authenticity of my dreams and goals.”

He explained that SHINE O’ CLOCK transformed the ideas he had long carried into something real, expressing gratitude to everyone who played a role in bringing the vision to life.

“What we’ve created will outlive us,” he added.

Jay Jody also took time to thank the loyal fanbase that has supported the project over the past two years. From streaming the music and attending live performances to purchasing merchandise and embracing the visuals, he acknowledged every contribution before signing off with the heartfelt phrase, “Kea le rata” (I love you), accompanied by his signature lightning bolt emoji.

While the post reflected on the past, it also pointed firmly toward the future. The closing message, “GOLIWOOD coming soon,” served as a brief but intriguing teaser, leaving fans eager to discover what the artist has planned next.

Released independently through Revenge Club Records on July 26, 2024, SHINE O’ CLOCK marked Jay Jody’s full emergence as a solo artist following his earlier success as one half of the duo B3nchMar9. The 17-track project showcased his versatility as a rapper, songwriter and producer, while reinforcing his commitment to creative independence.

Two years later, the album continues to stand as an important chapter in his career. Rather than simply celebrating an anniversary, Jay Jody’s message reflects on how far he has come, honours the community that has supported him, and quietly signals that the next phase of his musical journey is already taking shape.
