

Arsenal Football Club have confirmed its pre-season schedule ahead of the 2026/27 campaign, with Mikel Arteta’s side set to take on a blend of domestic and European opposition as preparations intensify for another demanding season.
The Gunners will use these fixture list to build fitness, integrate new signings and fine-tune their tactical approach before competitive action begins.
The north London club kicked off their preparations with a comfortable 3-0 victory over MK Dons in a behind-closed-doors friendly at the Sobha Realty Training Centre.
The match gave Arteta an early opportunity to assess his squad, including several returning internationals and summer arrivals. Arsenal will then travel to Spain to face Girona on 1 August before heading to Dublin to take on Real Betis at the Aviva Stadium on 5 August.
Their final two pre-season friendlies will be played at the Emirates Stadium, where Borussia Dortmund visit on 9 August before Italian side Como arrive three days later. The Gunners will conclude their preparations by facing Premier League champions Manchester City in the Community Shield on 16 August at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, this will give offering Arteta’s men the chance to secure silverware before the new league season gets underway.

Arsenal will be hoping to enter the new season in peak condition as they aim to challenge for major honours across the Premier League, UEFA Champions League and domestic cup competitions.
